James Allen Tedder, 80, of Tolar, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 in Granbury.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Post Oak Cemetery in Glen Rose.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
James was born June 10, 1937 to Jake and Lydia Rinker Tedder. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a machinist for Fritz W. Glitz in Dallas. James enjoyed working outdoors. He had an acre vegetable garden with 100 tomato plants and loved to give them away to rest homes, neighbors and family members.
James was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Gayle Tedder and son, Jimmy Tedder.
Survivors: Step-son, Robby Tedder; brother and sisters, Shirley Moore and husband Jess, Bobby Tedder and Tonya Randall and husband Henry; and a host of nieces and nephews.
