James Clifford Bilbrey, 75, a retired Bell Helicopter machinist, cowboy and actor, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015, in Franklin, New Hampshire.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
James was born July 8, 1939, in Cottonwood. He was a former lifeguard at the world’s largest swimming pool in Cisco and boxed in the Golden Gloves. He was an actor in several movies, a great lover of horses, and a member of the Cutting Horse Association. He was a wonderful husband, father and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad; brother, Carlton; and sister, Katie.
James is survived by his wife of 23 years, Rose; sons, Jefferey and Jordon; sisters, Estelene Arterbury, Virginia Brickell, Bernita Baker and Pearlie Macon; 14 nieces and nephews; 22 great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of friends and relatives.
