JC made me smile even on my bad days at the track. I really missed him when he retired but I miss him even more now.

James was like a brother. We met in college. I introduced him to my sister, Sandi , whom he married. We raised our kids together , learned to scuba dive , hunted, camped , water skied , travelled , laughed and cried together. He was one of the most affable people I have ever been around. You will be sorely missed here on earth but oh happy day when we are reunited in heaven !
John Boyd left a message on August 9, 2021:
I met JC at Motorsport Ranch years ago and enjoyed his company and our conversations more than he ever imagined. Needless to say, I was more than excited when he showed up at our garage one Saturday morning and joined our weekly coffee group that just talked cars and other meaningless things that a group of 70 plus year old car junkies discussed when they have nothing better to do. His last words to me was his apology for not being able to make the next Saturday get together, and that he would see us the following week, so the when we heard of his tragic accident we were understandably shocked and deeply sadden for the lost of this dear friend that we had just become reacquainted with just a few weeks before. JC was such a generous person with his time and patience, explaining the ins and outs of the track to a rookie driver just out trying to have a little fun. We will miss JCs kind words and great sense of humor but his legacy will live on through his wonderful family and countless friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and may he rest in peace; he will be missed but never forgotten.

James and Sandi made a road trip not too long ago and spent the night with us in Madison, Mississippi. It was so much fun having them visit, and we laughed a lot, because anyone who knows Sandi, knows she will keep you in stitches! Ranger their little doxin even came too. John and I were shocked beyond words to hear about James tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sandi and her family during this heartbreaking time.

I really enjoyed JC’s easy going style and down to earth wisdom. It was fun to hear him giggle before he answered a question or gave me an opinion on something. You were “The Best!” Rest In Peace Friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

JC was one in a million. He was my first real boss and I worked for him for 5 years. He watched me grow up and encouraged me to finish college. We shared many memories and laughs over the years. Too many to list! When I think of JC, I will always remember his kindness and generosity. We had a lot of fun together. Sandi and family, Jamie and I extend our deepest sympathies. You are in our prayers.
