Iv'e know Jimmy ever since he came out to the Masonic Home. We were class mates and he has always been a great guy. I loved seeing him every year at our reunions and he even showed up this last June with a knee brace on. Was so glad I got to see him then. Never would have thought that would be the last time. Prayers for all his family as he will be missed by many.

There are big ships and small ships. But the best ship of all is friendship. Jimmy & I have been friends since growing up together in Beaumont. After high school graduation I moved to Houston and soon found it wasn’t far enough away as all of my friends were coming for visits crashing on my couch and eating all of my groceries. Jimmy was living in Austin at that time and suggested I move in with him. So I came for a look around and found a great up and coming music scene as well as beautiful Lake Travis and the hill country. So I paid Jimmy 2 months rent in advance and left for a two week vacation in Colorado. Well upon my return I found out we were being evicted. Oh well we had been friends for so long nothing could ever change that. We’ve always stayed in touch and even vacationd in Alaska together. Thanks to Darla & his brother Tommy. I will truly miss my home town friend. Jimmy I love you man. I hope to see you again on the other side.

Jimmy was a super great guy and a craftsman. He designed and built much of my old house in Naples, Fl. He loved his boat and all the outdoor (and indoor) activities that the Gulf of Mexico offered. RIP Jimmy.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Where does a guy start,, kindergarten thru 8th grade, then Jimbo disappears for 4 yrs, then reappears and both of us following the same carreer path, he was a Craftsman , cabinets ,doors , trim, and then yacht s in Flo Rida, doors at tri supply and Sonic's,taco Bell, and Whataburger, and McAlister and along the way fishing at every chance, Jim was in and around my life and made it good, I enjoyed his friendship, advice, and his love for the salt water, he was even there to help me find my home in Bradenton Florida, I'm going to miss his phone calls and hear that rapspy voice, and he always started off let's go fishing.....love you Jim I will never forget the times we spent in both work and play...may God bless you Darla Johnna and the entire family....may you truly rest in peace.. Jimmy and I became friends many years ago at the Masonic Home and have been good friends all these years. I'll miss his lively laugh and story telling. Travel well my friend until we meet up again.
