James White passed away peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2021.
James was born September 24, 1943, in Arlington, Texas. James went to school at Azle and Castleberry. He worked at Iron Works and mowed lawns in his younger days. James loved trucks, cars, and could tell you every make and model. He loved to read, draw, and color. James was active in Special Olympics.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Los Creek Cemetery, Jacksboro, Jack County, Texas.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Zeno Hand; grandparents, Tom and Emma Willis; and sister-in- law, Mary Sue Smith.
He is survived by his brothers, Gilbert Smith, Walter Hand and wife Trisha; many nieces, nephews, and cousins including Robbie Rushing, Sandra McVeigh, Marlene Miller and Sheila Miller.
A special thank you to trail lake nursing and rehabilitation for taking great care of James the last few years.
