James Winsor Lord

James Winsor Lord passed peacefully at home Thursday, December 16, 2021.

James was born June 14, 1933, to Winsor Washington Lord and Bertha Murrell Lord in Richland, Texas.

James graduated from Corsicana High School. James continued his education attending various colleges including Navarro Junior College, University of North Texas and Institute of Banking. Most of James’ career was spent in the banking/financial industry.

James enlisted in the Army and served his country during the Korean War.

James loved to play golf, softball, working out at the fitness center, and working on his land in Godley, Texas.

James was a wonderful father and grandfather.

He loved his children and grandchildren dearly.

James was preceded in death by his parents, brother Al Lord, sister Bobbie Cummings, son Greg Lord, granddaughter Jennifer Lord, grandson Greg Lord jr., niece Phyllis Cummings, and niece Paula Evans.

James is survived by his daughter Janice Barnett and husband Rick, daughter Susan Psencik and husband Mike, grandchildren Jessica Coslow, LeAnn Ridings, James Townsend jr., Krystal Barnett, Jenifer Psencik, and Holly Fannin. Great grandchildren Hailey Coslow, Robert Kirkpatrick, Michael Kirkpatrick, Lainey Kirkpatrick, Makenzie Townsend, Danica Ulibarri, Dominic Ulibarri, Mason Townsend, and Jemma Townsend. Brother Bill Lord, sister Hazel Evans, Several nieces and nephews.
