My "adopted" father and friend. There is a void in the world without his wisdom, generosity, friendship, leadership and just being there because if you needed him he was always there for everyone.

Not everyone has a grandfather who was a super hero, but we did, your fortunate grandchildren. You lived a life of honor, courage, and service to everyone around you, anyone who needed help, and you were a friend to all. You set a good example for all of us to follow, but you left us big boots to fill. I love you.

I quickly became very close to this amazing man. It was such an honor to get to care for him. He had such good stories and jokes and lots of wisdom about life and love he shared. He will be greatly missed and forever cherished. It was an honor to be a small part of your life Winston.

A Life of Service When you think about the right words to honor the memory of such a wonderful man like Winston top of the list was his respectful caring attitude for all every day, his love for his family and friends and a man of action for children in need. I'm sure he was the worlds oldest hardest working paramedic. His sense of humor ever-present. What a blessing it was to have Winston in our lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
