Jan “Nita” Rosenauer, 53, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 31, in Biggers Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Nita was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, on February 2, 1960, to James and Charlene Sossamon. She married Richard Rosenauer on April 29, 2006, in Ozark, Missouri. Richard was the love of her life and became a huge part of her family’s life. Nita loved her younger brother, Mike Sossamon, dearly and cherished her children, Brandi and Brandon. She had a heart of gold and a love that was never ending to all of those she came in contact with. Her three granddaughters, Hailey, Allison and Trinity, were the love of her life and the light of her day. In her eyes, they could do no wrong. Nita worked for Educare of Texas, where she took care of very sweet individuals with disabilities. Next to her grandchildren, these individuals meant the world to her and owned her heart. She will truly be missed by them and those who worked with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James William Sossamon and Charlene Elizabeth Sossamon of Camden, Arkansas.
She leaves behind many other family, extended family and friends in which she touched their hearts as they did hers.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Richard Rosenauer of Azle; daughter and husband, Brandi and Allen Wilkins; granddaughters, Hailey, Allison and Trinity Wilkins of Azle; son, Brandon McCain of Granite, Oklahoma; and her dear brother, wife and nephew, Mike, Kathi and Parker Sossamon of Hollister, Missouri.
