Janice Jameson, 79, passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 4:00 pm Wednesday, February 1, 2017, Fulton Cemetery, Walnut Springs, Texas
Visitation: 6-8 pm, Tuesday in Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose.
Janice was born on September 10, 1937 in Walnut Springs, Texas to the late A. J. and Fairy Mae (Jackson) Barnes. She moved to Glen Rose as a child and has been a lifetime resident since. After graduating High School in 1955 she continued her education in Fort Worth for business to manage the affairs of the Jameson Nurse-O-tell, a local nursing home owned and operated by her in-laws. Afterward, she worked a number of years as a medication aide and retired in the mid 90’s. She has enjoyed her life in retirement taking care of her family. Janice was a member of the Glenview Church of Christ.
Survivors: Son, Lesley Jameson and wife Leslie; daughter, Denise Sanchez and husband, Joe; sisters, Judy Shepherd and husband, James, Sandra Mantooth and husband, Harvey; grandchildren, Rebecca Hand and husband, Tyler, Robert Jameson; great grandson, Nathaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
