Jarrod T. Posey, age 33, was born on July 27, 1987 and died on November 9, 2020 at home.  He lived in Lipan, Texas.  He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lipan.  He worked as an Electrician.

He loved his family and friends with all his heart.  He enjoyed playing with his dog Jake!

Jarrod’s favorite pastimes were playing sports.  He excelled in basketball, baseball and golf.  His proudest moments were going with the Lipan Indians to State in basketball four years straight, and bringing home the State Championship in 2005.

He was loving, giving, kind and a very caring man.  Our family is devastated over our loss.  Our lives are changed forever.

Survived By Parents Troy and Pam Posey of Lipan; Brother Jason and wife Michaele Posey of Abilene; Sister-in-Law Jennifer Wolf and husband Brett of Weatherford; Grandmother Glenda McCleskey of Cameron; Nieces and Nephews Jade, Kinsley, Tracen, Jacie, Jackson, Ava and Mikey; Maternal Uncle Paul and wife Kyra, cousins Kati, Clay, and Chloe Krause, all of Stephenville; Paternal Aunts and Uncles Beverley, Jack, Kathy, Tammy and Tom, too many friends to count and his dog Jake.

Preceded in Death by Brother Jonathan D. Posey; Grandfather Stanley Krause; Grandparents Charles and Lois Posey; and Paternal Aunt Sharlett Davis; niece, Madison Posey.
