I have loved Jerry for so long. We've known each other since junior high. When I was in the 7th grade, I bought an ID bracelet at the stock show and had them engrave 'Jerry' on it. I went to school and told everyone that Jerry was my boyfriend. It worked too because he went to Lake Worth and I went to Azle. He was my fake boyfriend for the rest of the school year. Jerry and I reconnected and I told him that story and he got the biggest kick out of it. I loved to see him smile. He has always been such a good friend to me and I'll miss him terribly in this life. But, one day we will be United in Glory...of that I'm sure. It will all be different then, but I'll know Jerry. "In death, perhaps I'll lose you, but I want you to know you were the one."
