Jerry Marlin Cramer, Jr., 66, beloved husband, father, son, brother and grandfather, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at his home in Granbury.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 1 P.M., on Friday, April 8, 2022, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East in Granbury.

Jerry was born on February 22, 1956, in Bryan, Texas, to Jerry and Alvis Cramer.  He grew up in Odessa, Texas, and graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock.

He was an exceptional athlete and played all sports, but football was his true love.  He received his Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University where he was a strong safety on the football team that won two bowl games and shared the 1976 Big 8 championship.

Working for 30 years at MillerCoors Brewing, he promoted through positions of increasing responsibility to Production Services Manager, retiring in 2011.

Jerry loved God and his family.  He was actively involved in his children’s sports teams and served on the Burleson ISD School Board.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling across the country for his children or other adventures, and college football.

Setting a lasting example of toughness, work ethic and dedication, the greatest gifts he selflessly gave to his family and many friends were his sense of humor, loyalty and support, and unconditional love.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Terri; his children, Justin and wife Lacey Cramer, Kelley and husband Lyndal Dedmon, Kolby Stobbe, and Jamey Schwoyer; 13 grandchildren; his parents, Jerry Sr. and Alvis Cramer; his siblings, Ann Adair, Kay and husband Scott Loftin, Cindy and husband Dave Bowman; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Cheryl Cramer.
