Jerry was born on September 24, 1946 in Texarkana, Texas to Ethan and Bonnie Brewer. He married Carolyn Lackey on December 26, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Johnnie Brewer.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Carolyn Brewer, children: Heath Brewer, Shannon Brewer, Shana Thormann and husband Andy, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
