Jim Bustos passed away on November 28, 2022. He was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on March 21, 1954 to Dan and Rosalie Bustos.
He had 5 siblings, Virgina, Bobby, Johnny, Bea, and Danny. He married the love of his life, Lucille Garcia on June 8th 1974. They had 4 children, Jimmy, Mark, Dana, and Christopher. He also had his daughter-in-law Rachel and his one and only grand-daughter, Isabella. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Joe, Paul, Phillip and sister-in-law Julie and many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a wonderful husband and father. He always devoted his life and hard work to his family. He was an alumni of New Mexico State University. He graduated with honors with an engineering degree. He was a respected structural engineer in the US Army Corp of Engineers. He was an important part of many engineering projects in North Texas and throughout the United States. Jim had a big heart. He was a humanitarian. He taught his children to help others and be kind. He led the best example of a kind and loving husband, father, son and brother.
