Jimmy Darrell Manuel, 71, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, in Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The famiy will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Jim was born in Wellington. His family moved to Fort Worth when he was 9 years old. He worked in the automobile business for over 40 years.

Jim was an avid power boater on Eagle Mountain Lake, and enjoyed his family and good times with friends.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie Manuel; brother, Tommy Manuel and wife, Rosalie, of Fort Worth; sister, Mary Rebecca McCreary of Fort Worth; a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
