GRANBURY– Jo Ann Whitlock, 74, passed away Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, in Granbury.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Acton Cemetery.
Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Whitlock was born June 11, 1939, in Snyder, Texas, to Arlon Charles Ellerd and Annie Lee Grubbs Ellerd. She married Thomas David Whitlock, Jan. 7, 1955, in Portales, N.M. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Jo Ann had a sweet spirit and was a loving wife, mother and grammy that will be forever missed. Preceding her in death were her parents, a brother, Charles Lee Ellerd, and a sister, Geneva Martin.
Survivors: Husband, Thomas Whitlock; children, David Whitlock and wife, Jeanie, Wendell Whitlock and wife, Renae, Ann Sutton and husband, Clark; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
