John Aaron Penny, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020.  Service: 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 1st, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury. TX.  Family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on December 1st at Wiley Funeral Home.  John will Lie in State Monday,November 30th, 9:00am – 8:00pm, Wiley Funeral Home; Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Fallen Soldiers Project. John was born on September 1, 1938 in Four Oaks, North Carolina to  Aaron and Margaret Penny.   He proudly served his country in the USAF.  He retired from ITT.  He loved dancing, wood working and gardening. He was a loving husband of 20 years, father, grandfather and brother. John was preceded in death by his parents, and Stepson – Michael Shumer.  

John is survived by his wife: Jane, Son – Jeffrey, Daughter – Kimberly Davis, spouse Tommy, Brother – James, Sister – Sandra Barnes, spouse Charles, Stepdaughters – Donna Osborn, spouse Terry, Lisa Taylor, spouse Phil, Stepson – Randy Shumer, spouse Sherry, multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family members.  

Arrangements under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.
