John Horace Davis, 72, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Fort Wort, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at his home.

A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury, Texas.

John was born on December 13, 1949, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Richard and Marjorie Davis.   He married Roxanne Keith on April 9, 1982.  John worked as a Contract Manager for Bechtel Corp. for over 20 years.  He was an avid reader – often reading as much as many as 3 books per day!  John was active in the Boy Scouts. Also with other youth group where he taught shooting sports.  Most of all, John enjoyed time spent with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Roxanne; his son, Eric Thompson Davis; his grandchildren, Christian Matthew Greene and wife Kaitlyn, Tyler Gavin Davis and Samantha Danielle Davis; and by his aunt, Shirley Gay Osborn.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his son, Samuel (Kenny) Kent Davis; and by his siblings, Patricia Jean Brown and Richard O Davis Jr.
