John Hugh McGuffin, 62, of Granbury, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Celebration of life for family and friends: 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2017, 919 Neri Road, Granbury, Texas 76048.
John was born on November 6, 1955 in Baytown, Texas to Billy and Mona McGuffin. He was the owner of McGuffin construction. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and travelling. He enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren, family and friends. He had a funny story for everything whether it was real or not.
John was preceded in death by his father, Billy Jack McGuffin and his mother: Mona McGuffin.
John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sandy McGuffin, children: Courtney Blackburn and husband Bryan, Amber Barks and husband Ronnie, Brooke Atkinson and husband Sean and Cole McQuone, thirteen grandchildren, siblings: Jackie Rattan and husband Mike, James McGuffin, Jeff McGuffin and wife Laurel, in laws: Jim and Darlene Humphrey, Gary and Donna Bricker, Mike and Linda Chernoski, and John and Vicki Humphrey and numerous nieces and nephews.
