John Robert Seabourn, 65, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal will be at 3 p.m. in Eureka Cemetery in Eureka. The family will receive friends prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
John was born November 13, 1949, to James Estel and Betty Jean Laird Seabourn in Abilene.
John proudly served 10 years in the United States Navy. He worked at Lockheed Martin as a software engineer for 27 years and was planning to retire this year. John served in the Black Hawk Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol, and was a member of the Southern Dawgs Motorcycle Club.
John loved his children and grandchildren, riding his Harley, and was always happy to lend a helping hand.
John is survived by his mother, Betty Seabourn; sister, Joyce Seabourn of Corsicana; son, Justin Seabourn and wife, Kylene, of Fort Worth; daughter, Janessa Seabourn of Irving; grandchildren, Brandon and Ginger Seabourn; and niece, Jamie McKinnon of Plano.
