FORT WORTH — Johnnie F. Huggins, 91, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Johnnie was born May 4, 1923, in Hood County, Texas, to John Henry Cheek and Myrtle Stewart Cheek. She attended Granbury schools and played basketball in high school. She was active in her church and was a member of West Freeway Church of Christ in Fort Worth. She loved to travel. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, Charles Ray Cheek and Dean Cheek.
Survivors: Children, James Michael Huggins and wife, Linda, Britt Runyon Huggins and wife, C.J., Flicker Jay Huggins and wife, Tracie; grandchildren, Dustin J. Huggins and wife, Kim, Jared Huggins; sister, Veda Mae Huggins; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
