Johnny was born April 3, 1964, in Cleburne to Kenneth Hopson and Wanda Hicks Hopson. He was a member of Grace For All Church in Arlington. Johnny enjoyed visiting and praying with the sick at the hospital.He was a caring person and truly had a big heart that he displayed by loving everyone. Johnny took pride in his plants and growing his roses. He loved children and babies, whether they were furry or not, including his six dogs. He was known as “Gruncle” to his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Patsy Mashaw; and nephew, Justin Mashaw.
Survivors: Spouse, Dave Small Hopson of Fort Worth; sons, Jarred and Jonathan Hopson; brother, Larry Cohron of Granbury; nephews, Chad Mashaw and Josh and Jody Cohron; cousin-brother, Robert and Gary Shipman.
