FORT WORTH — Jorge Nunez Cornejo, 87, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Service: 2 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Granbury. Visitation: 12 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Jorge was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Aguacalintes, Mexico to Gerardo Nunez and Rafaela Cornejo. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Granbury and had lived in Fort Worth for two years. He loved to dance and go on trips. Jorge was always willing to help others. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gerardo.

Survivors: Wife, Juana Valenciano Nunez of Fort Worth; daughters, Monica, Rosa Maria, Rafaela, Maria Carmen and Rosaivon; sons, David, Joseluis and Jorge; numerous grandchildren; sisters, Tomasita Saavedra and Josefina DelaRosa of Del Rio; brother, Juan Antonio of Del Rio; and several nieces and nephews.
