Granbury — Jose Luis Hernandez, 59, passed away Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, in Weatherford.
Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Burial: Long Creek Cemetery in Hood County.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral Home.
Jose was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Paris, Texas, to Jesse and Linda Flores Grimaldo. He moved from Grand Junction, CO to Granbury in April 2015. He was a machinist and was working for CAPCO. Jose was an artist, loved music and enjoyed cooking out.
Survivors: Wife, Shaunda Schoonover of Weatherford; mother, Linda Flores of Boise City, OK; sons, Moses Hernandez and Jeremy Hernandez, both of Reno, NV; step-children, Hollie Roberts of Granbury, Cody Schoonover of Quinlan, Texas; 8 grandchildren; brother, Ray Hernandez and wife, Angie, of Crosbyton, TX; sisters, Linda Vasquez and husband, Pilo, of Midland, Connie Pogue, Elizabeth Hensley and husband, Mark, Mary Alice Serna, Elva Saucedo and husband, Victor, all of Boise City, OK; mother-in-law, Sharon Norman of Granbury; and several nieces and nephews.
