Joseph Lee (Joe) Cunha, 76, was born January 2, 1943 in Modesto, California and passed away on Wednesday; September 11, 2019 in Fort Worth.

Viewing will be from 9:30 am. to 10:30 am. Monday; September 16, 2019

at Martin’s Funeral Home in Granbury with funeral services to follow at

11 am. Monday; September 16, 2019 in Holly Hills Memorial Park Chapel at

1900 Highway 51- North in Granbury.

Joe attended and became a parishioner of the Catholic church at a very young age.  He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He retired from the Aledo ISD as Maintenance Director. Joe loved gardening and working in the yard and was a person that would do whatever he was asked by anyone needing his help, he loved helping people. Joe was definitely a gentle giant, was a kind soul and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of (30) years, Barbara Donnell Cunha; daughters, Cheryl Baker (Jim) and Cindy Johnson (Scott); grandchildren, Jamie Horton, Shawn Johnson and Dylan Johnson and by a great-granddaughter, Hannah Horton.
