Judith Lynn “Judie” Turner, 57, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Judie was born to Eugene and Patricia Tinker Schultz on October 21, 1956. She grew up in Clovis, New Mexico, where she met and married James Hannah. Jim and Judie had two children, Stephen and Rachel, while living in Aurora, Colorado. While working with Champlin Oil (later changed to Union Pacific Resources), she and the kids were transferred to Fort Worth. After several years, she found her calling working for L and B Realty Advisors where she was the director of human resources, and loved what she did.
Judie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sylvester M. and Jeannette Tinker; and her father, Eugene Shultz.
Judie is loved and continues her legacy in the people she cherished and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her mother, Patsy and Lawson Phyfe; brothers, Larry Phyfe, Jeff and Doug Shultz; sisters, Cyndie Wright, Donnette McCrea, Jodi Howe, Heidi Horowitz and Kristen Baker. She lives on in her son, Stephen Hannah; and daughter, Rachel and husband, Ron Prestage. Judie was also known as “Bee” by her grandchildren, Jordan and Jessica Hannah, Taylor, Ryan and Logan Prestage; and a large extended family.
