June McLeod Holubek

June McLeod Holubek, 67, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, in Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice.

Billie June McLeod was born December 9, 1948, in Fort Worth to Dorothy June and Billie Wayne McLeod. She graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1967 and married Gerald “Jerry” Holubek on June 27, 1969, in Fort Worth. Except for the time that June and “Jerry” were away on military assignments, June has been a lifelong area resident.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Holubek; father, Billie “Bill” McLeod; uncles, Bobby and Charles McLeod.

She is survived by her children, Melony Mhoon and husband, Steve, and Jody Holubek; grandchildren, Kayla and Emily Holubek; mother, Dorothy Brawner McLeod; sister, Belinda McLeod Barker and husband, Brent; nieces, Brooke and Bridget Barker; and many cousins and other extended family.
