Karen Jo Jones, 70, of Granbury passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends for Animals, Granbury Chapter.
Karen was born on April 9, 1948 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Donald and Mary Borden. She married Roland Rex Jones in 1984 in Midland, Texas. She worked for Southwestern Bell for more than 15 years. Karen loved golfing, cooking and spending time with her pets. Her greatest pride and joy was her grandson, Nicholas Wells, a United States Marine.
Karen is survived by her loving husband Rex Jones, daughter: Kendra Wells and grandson: Nicholas Wells.
She will be greatly missed.

God broke the mold when He made Karen. She was truly one of a kind. There was never a dull moment when I was with her. She had an infectious laugh and always loved having fun. She had such a big heart, too. She loved her family and her pets but her grandson, Nicholas, was her biggest source of pride and joy. My prayers and love are with the family. Rest In Peace Karen.
