Karlon D. Taylor, 82, of Fort Worth passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 31, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Karlon was born March 16, 1937 in Eldorado, Okla. to the late TJ and Ruby Taylor. He was a 1955 graduate from Trimble Tech High School. Karlon was employed by Bell Helicopter for 35 years which included customizing helicopters for many dignitaries all over the world. Even with all his work at Bell Helicopter he was always available to assist his family and friends with any repair needed and was truly skilled in his craft.
Karlon served as city councilman in Lake Worth for 12 years. He was a devoted Christian his entire life and served as a deacon and song leader for over 30 years. Karlon was devoted to his daily bible study and has read the entire bible several times throughout his life. He was a long-time member of Bridgewood Church of Christ. Karlon was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He especially loved our camping trips to Fun Valley, Colorado. He enjoyed being able to cheer on his children and grandchildren at their various sporting events. Karlon was blessed with a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing pranks on everyone especially his children. He truly believed that laughter is the best medicine. His kindness will live on for generations.
Karlon was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister.
Survivors: His wife of 62 years, Glenda Taylor; his children, Stacey Taylor and wife, Becky, Kari Bankes and husband, Calvin and Missy Keeton and husband, John; grandchildren, Chad Bankes and wife, Lindy, Ashley Bankes, Cody Taylor and wife, Mary Lauren, Kayla Conner and husband, Kyle, Chelsea Langthorp and husband, Garrett and Jason Keeton; along with seven great-granddaughters.
