Cindy Schielke Walsworth left a message on September 23, 2021:
I met Katelyn Ariel when she was a wee gal. I met her mom at women's conference in Waco, and Kari and I struck up a friendship. Kari and I would walk the neighborhood or at Cameron Park with Katelyn in the umbrella stroller. I found Katelyn on Facebook when she was at college. She was beautiful -- inside and out. Her parents raised a wonderful woman. I sit here in Carrollton, Texas and am crying for the loss of this child and for my friend and her husband their children. A HUGE HOLE in all of their hearts. I'm so sorry for your loss. And there are not words that convey the sorrow. I don't understand. I know her life mattered. And I am praying for you all.

Katelyn was an excellent violist, a lover of horses, and a mentor and encouragement to all. Our hearts are broken for your family. May the love of Jesus and the peace that passes all understanding be with you all.

She took my little girl under her wing and gave her confidence. She was a teacher and a big sister to her. It was more than just dressage. I won't forget what she did for my girl. We are heart broken. I know she is with the Lord now. Ride the Heavens cowgirl. We will meet again.
