Kathleen McFaul passed away at her home in Granbury, Texas on April 29, 2018, after a lengthy illness. She was 93.

Mrs. McFaul was born in Wilson, Oklahoma, on June 27, 1924 to Ralph DeWitt Benton and Lynn Walcott Benton. The family moved to Holiday, Texas where she spent her early childhood. After graduating from Wichita Falls High School, she earned a Bachelors of Art degree in music from North Texas State Teachers College. She was employed as a public school educator for several years.
On June 19, 1948, she married Mairl McFaul of Wichita Falls. Kathy and Mairl were married for 45 years, until his death in 1993.
In 1998, Kathy married George Armentrout. They were married until George’s death in 2011.
Mrs. McFaul was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mairl McFaul, her husband George Armentrout, and her sister Norma Jean Barnett.
Mrs. McFaul is survived by her son Dr. Robert McFaul and his wife Dr. Stacy McFaul; her daughter Dr. Patricia McFaul and her husband Mr. Kevin Jones. She had four grandchildren: Morgan Jackson (Jason), Judith Jones, Jillian Jones, and Seth Jones.
She is also survived by three grandchildren: Robert Scott Jackson, Benton Jackson, and Wyatt Jackson.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Kathy’s dedicated caregivers of many years: Melody Perkins, Linda Hackler, and Shelley Hackler.
