I’m very sad to learn of Brother Adkisson’s passing. Though I know he is with our Lord now I know this void leaves a very deep pain for his family. Lanee, I am so sorry you’ve lost your daddy. He was a good man. My heart breaks for your mom. My prayers are with you all.

My dear Adkisson family, Please know that Larry touched many lives and he taught me what a Christian life is. One of my favorite things was to hear Larry's beautiful singing. All of my memories of this precious man will be treasured forever until we meet again. Many prayers for each of you. Love to all, Mildred Chapman Moore

Dear Addison family, we are in quarantine after being closely exposed to COVID and will be unable to attend Larry's service. However, our thoughts and prayers have been with you since we heard the news of his promotion to his Lord and Savior's presence. When we began our ministry in 1976, Larry was the first to invest in me and encourage me. Through the years, as we both entered different fields of ministry, he always offered encouragement and genuine interest in us and our family. His smile was genuine, his laugh was contagious, his heart was as big as God's kingdom. We look forward to the glorious reunion we will have one day. Our prayers continue for you in the days ahead.

I never had the privilege to serve in my country's armed forces, but I have had the greater privilege to serve my Savior in His forces. Larry and I fought side by side in many spiritual battles and developed that same camaraderie of all soldiers. We were a part of that “Band of Brothers”. In the Lord’s Army there are no casualties, just promotions. My brother has been given the well-deserved ultimate promotion.

Our deepest condolences to his Family. Uncle Larry was such an inspiration to many. I had the priveledge of knowing him when they came to South Africa and in 2007 of visiting them in Texas. He made my visit there very special and bought South African "boerewors" chocolates and cold drinks for me to enjoy with them. He will be dearly missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Uncle Larry was the most righteous, God fearing religious leader I have ever had the privilage of knowing. He said what he believed and lived by example. Many of the values and moral code i try to live by as an adult, father and leader, were instilled by Larry. You were a great example of being a leader and father. Our world needs more men like Larry, especially now. You will be missed uncle Larry.

Larry was such a blessing! To know his was to love him. He had so much compassion and his passion for Jesus was evident in all he did. As a little girl I remember watching him lead the choir. I loved to sing those songs with my mom on the way home after Choir rehearsal. He got everyone singing their hearts out. I’m grateful to have been a part of his family and that he was a part of my life. Sending much love to all the family.
