Lance, you are dearly missed. I ramble around the house thinking you will magically appear. I know you are at peace and for that I am grateful. We will meet again in heaven. Those in heaven with you are blessed as I have been blessed with your loving kindness on earth. I love you.

You will forever have a special place in my memories and in my heart sweet friend. May you have many new adventures, laughter and song in this new journey.

I didn't know you except on FB, Lance. Gonna miss kibitzing about things like liberals, music and Walking Dead. Time for you to take up where you left off on the Other Side.

Lance, only knew you through facebook, but you brought much humor and enlightenment to my days. Look down on all of us from Heaven and know you are missed.

I miss you, old friend. We were best friends in our youth and then time and life intervened and we drifted apart, only to reconnect in the last few years of your life. It is my testament to you that you left an indelible mark on me and that I can remember every moment we spent together. I am continually praying for all of us loved Lance--Nancy, his children, sisters, Dana, Raine...everyone--He was such a good friend, and we all loved him so much. I don't know what we are going to do without him, but I have to believe he is with us all. How could he not be? We carry him in our hearts. Lance was not as much a writing mentor to me as he was a spiritual mentor, and if any of you had not seen that side of him, trust me when I say that our Lance had a beautiful heart, a shining soul, and a brilliant, brilliant mind. May God give us all solace, and may our love for this man we all called friend keep him alive in our hearts and memories. I love you, My Friend, and I miss you so much.

I am so sorry to hear of Lance's death. I always thought so much of him. We had a lot of good times together in Lubbock. He was always the life of the party. We lost touch over the years but he was always a favorite. I pray that your faith will comfort you at this time of grief. I know I will see Lance in Heaven. God bless you!

If they we only met once, I felt that I have know you for years. Your facebook post always had a way of putting a smile on my face.
