Larry served 33 yrs as a Lancaster firefighter and loved his job. He was also an instructor for many years at the Texas A&M Fire School. He recently moved from Lewisville to Granbury. Larry enjoyed life to the fullest which included hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He served as a Master Mason and enjoyed researching genealogy.
Larry never met a stranger. He always embraced you with a hug, big smile and made you feel so loved.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Son Russell Mabra and wife Tammie of Granbury, daughter Gaylon Ritter, son Kevin Lewis and wife Jennifer of Bartonville, sisters Wendy Johnson and Joyce Ann Shumann, 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews that all called him “Unky.”
Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 27, 2021, Triple Cross Cowboy Church.
