She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma April 9, 1964 to the late Mary Elaine (Oliver) and Donald Caz Armes. They lived in Midwest City on Lullaby Lane, a street name she always remembered and loved.
She moved to Lawton, Oklahoma in the 4th grade and graduated from McArthur High School. She continued her education at Cameron University, where she met her husband, Michael A. Bills. They married July 12, 1984 and moved to Keller where they raised their four children.
Laura was foremost a wonderful mother; you could not count the hours spent at dance recitals and on soccer fields. She always made sure that her home welcomed anyone and everyone who entered it. She spent her last years caring for her granddaughter during the day and most recently after school when she entered Kindergarten last year. She inspired Karsyn’s love of learning, reading books, and cooking, which were activities they would do everyday. Karsyn was the light of Laura’s life, and it was her greatest joy having the opportunity to spend everyday together. The two were, and will be forever, inseparable in their hearts and minds.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Bills; sons, Travis Bills, Joshua Bills, Casey Bills and his wife, Kendra; daughter, Aldyn Bills; brother, Don Armes and his wife, Dede; sister, Melissa Jennings; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Laura Bills; sister-in-law, Cricket Bills; nieces and nephews, Katy Armes, Kelsey Carden and husband, Brett, Christian Bills and fiancée, Ashley, Lauren Payne and husband, Cody; and the eternal light in her life, her granddaughter, Karsyn.
