GRANBURY — Lavada Hubble, 88, passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hubble was born Apr. 6, 1926 to Leroy and Mable Claire Poke McCoy in Glen Rose. She had lived in Granbury since 1955 and was a member of the Church of God in Granbury. She worked for the Granbury ISD in the cafeteria. She enjoyed crocheting and collecting dolls. Preceding her in death by her parents, husband, Elmer Hubble, and 4 brothers.
Survivors: Son, Gene Hubble and wife, Lynda, of Arlington; daughter, Jane Jones and husband, Terry, of Granbury; grandchildren, Jessica Hubble, Michael Hubble, Trevor Jones, Tory Jones, Tiara Jones; brother, Rev. Wayne McCoy and wife, Wanda, of Joshua; sisters-in-law, Roselle McCoy of Van Buren, Ark., Tye McCoy of Saginaw; and several nieces and nephews.
