LEEONA JONES CROUCH
LeeOna Crouch of Granbury, age 94, passed away 2/5/2014 in Glen Rose. She was a resident at Glen Rose Nursing / Rehab Center since Jan. 2012.
She was loved by all. She was known for all her hugs she loved to give. She would spend her days praying for everyone that came to her mind. The family is deeply thankful for the staff at the Glen Rose Nursing facility and the Girling Hospice Care for the wonderful care and love given to LeeOna. God bless you all.
A graveside service will be held Feb. 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Holly Hills Mausoleum Chapel.
She was born Jan. 15, 1920 in Clarendon, TX of parents Clarence McCann Peabody and Mattie Lee Hall Peabody. LeeOna was a hair dresser for many years in Fort Worth and Granbury. She was a really sweet person that loved everybody. She was a loving Granny and Mother raising her children in the way they should go. She loved the Lord most of all and wanted others to know Him like she did. She is in His arms now, totally well, jumping and leaping and praising the Lord.
LeeOna was preceded in death by her husbands; Curtis A. Jones (the Father of her children), Leland Jones, and O.L. Crouch, her son-in-laws; Bill Thompson and Frank Wentworth, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her 4 children; Clouetta Wentworth of Tolar, C. Anthony Jones and wife, Marsha of Weatherford, Keron Vanlandingham and husband Marvie of Tolar and Dennis A. Jones of Glen Rose, her 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. She was affectionately called Granny. We will all miss her very much.
