GRANBURY — Leneta Joan Cleveland, 72, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 in Granbury. Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Acton Baptist Church. Interment: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.
Leneta was born Jan. 10, 1942 in Stephenville to W.T. “Dub” and Erma Mae Burgan Howard. She attended school in Granbury and college in Fort Worth. She married David L. Cleveland in 1959 in Weatherford. Leneta was a retired teacher and taught Sunday School at Acton Baptist Church for over 20 years. She was devoted to her family and friends and concerned about the needs of others. She had a never ending supply of love that we treasured. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gerald Howard.
Survivors: Husband, David L. Cleveland of Granbury; son, David Wesley Cleveland and wife, Tracy of Granbury; daughter, Lisa Soloman and husband, Randy of Granbury; grandchildren, Chad Soloman and wife, Lauran, Loren Soloman, Heath Cleveland and Bren Cleveland; great grandchildren, Payton Soloman and Madison Soloman; brothers, Gary Howard of Stephenville and Larry Howard and wife, Stacy of Bluff Dale; and several nieces and nephews.
