Leslie R. “Wit” Witsaman, 93, died Thursday, December 11, 2014, in Fort Worth.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date early in the new year.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. Wit worked as a clinical psychologist in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Knoxville, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by his 20-year-old daughter, Cynthia “Cy,” in 1976; his sisters, Bernita Charles, Lucille Mellinger; and brother, Donald Witsaman.
He is survived by his wife, Scott K. Witsaman; his children, Charles Witsaman of Florida, Paul Witsaman (LaRae) of Fort Worth, Lynda Witsaman of California, John Witsaman (Frances) of Indiana, Mark Jackson (Mel) of South Carolina; and his beloved grandchildren, Cody Witsaman, Callie Roland (Travis), Skyler Witsaman, Elijah Witsaman and Cooper and Delaney Jackson.
