GLEN ROSE — Letha Maurice Spinks, 87, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose. Burial: Squaw Creek Cemetery in Rainbow. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Letha was born Nov. 4, 1927, in Corsicana, Texas, to Charles and Winnie Vaughan Ray. She married J.D. Spinks, May 17, 1945, in Corsicana. She had lived in Glen Rose since 1946 and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church. With her family, she owned and operated Spinks Auto Parts in Glen Rose. Letha enjoyed traveling with her husband. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, J.D., daughter, Gloria, son, Lesie, one sister and four brothers.
Survivors: Daughters, Mary Allard and husband, Ronnie, of Granbury, Tina Rymer of Granbury; eight grandchildren, Tracey Green, Teresa Morris, Dan Allard, Lani Rodriguez, Carlos Ortiz, Heather Yzaguirre, Erin Bartoszek, Chris Abrego; 16 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
