Lillie Mae Douglas, 84, of Glen Rose, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 11, 2018.  Service:  2:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 15, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Glen Rose; Interment:  Squaw Creek Cemetery; Visitation:  5:00 – 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 14, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose.

Lillie was born on January 26, 1934 in Kosse, Texas to Grady and Willie Mae Cooper.  Lillie married the love of her life, Bud Douglas, on August 25, 1951.  They were married 67 wonderful years.  Lillie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Lillie was an active member of Grace Baptist Church.  She worked for Glen Rose ISD for 20 years in the lunch room and the school store.  She was known as “The Lunch Room Lady.”  Lillie was preceded in death by her parents.

Lillie is survived by her loving husband:  Bud Douglas of Glen Rose; children:  Keith L. Douglas and wife Lisa and Cathy Ivie and husband Deric; granddaughter:  Amanda Dougherty and husband Matthew; great- grandchildren:  Hailey Dougherty and Matthew Dougherty and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
