Linda Jean Hardie

September 10, 1943 - January 23, 2023

Linda Jean Hardie, 79, longtime resident of Glen Rose, Texas, passed away on Monday evening, January 23, 2023, at her home in Glen Rose.

Linda was born on September 10, 1943, in Somervell County, Texas, to Bill and Glenis Bruce.  She enjoyed cooking.  She worked for many years at the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station near Glen Rose.  Linda will be remembered for her loving and giving personality and for the deep love she had for her family.

Linda leaves behind 2 sisters – Mauritta Spurgeon and Phyllis Woodley; her children – son Bart and wife Julie Hardie and son Brett Hardie; her grandchildren, – Justin, Jami, Lauren, and Colton; 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by two children, Bruce Hardie and Brandi Hardie.
