Linda kay Lester, 69, of Cooperton, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in Granbury, Texas.
Linda was born February 22, 1946 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to Grover and Billie Broadus. She graduated from Florence Union High School in Florence, Arizona. She later moved to Dallas, Texas where she met Dave Lester. They were married in Dallas on August 27, 1976. Linda and Dave moved to his hometown of Cooperton, Oklahoma where they farmed and ranched. Linda worked as a legal secretary in Hobart, Oklahoma, and she had many hobbies including horses, boating and photography. Linda especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, David Lester, and her parents, Grover and Billie Broadus.
She is survived by her brothers, Butch Broadus of Weatherford, Texas and Gary Broadus of Hico, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the best, and she will be greatly missed.
Graveside service will be at Hobart Rose Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015
