Lisa Ann Baumann

Lisa Ann Kneifl Baumann passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, with her family by her side, after a 10-year battle with breast cancer.Funeral: A Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Visitation: A recitation of the holy rosary will commence at 4 p.m. Monday with visitation following at Biggers Funeral Home.Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.Lisa was born May 27, 1971. She married Mark D. Baumann on Aug. 21, 1992. She attended elementary school in Coleridge, Neb., and graduated high school at North Hopkins in 1989. She attended Texas Woman’s University where she earned a B.S. and M.S. in nutrition. She was employed as a dietician by Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, for Fresenius Dialysis in Minden, La., for Weatherford Regional Medical Center, and Texas Health Harris Methodist in Azle. Through her battle with cancer, she tried to maintian a normal life for her three girls as best she could. She loved butterfly and bird watching, especially bluebirds and hummingbirds. She volunteered at the local schools while kids were in session and she was a pianist at Holy Trinity during religious education and services.She was preceded in death by her mother, Marietta Tramp Kneifl; by her grandparents, Pete and Elizabeth Kneifl, and Louis and Mary Tramp; and by uncles, Leonard Kneifl and John Tramp.Survivors: Husband, Mark Baumann; her daughters, Jordan, Emily and Rachel; father, Joseph P. Kneifl of Sulphur Springs; siblings, Sheila Kleinpeter of Plano, Kristy Roberts of Willow Park, Philip Kneifl of Emory, Russell Kneifl of White Oak, Ronda Halse of Benbrook and Linda Thomas of Denton.
