Loucille “BeBo” Lewis
GLEN ROSE — Loucille “BeBo” Lewis, 83, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Glenview Church of Christ.
Mrs. Lewis was born Feb. 1, 1930, in Lott, Texas, to Wallace E. Crites and Bessie Lee Blasingame Crites. She married E.L. Hancock Aug. 1, 1948 in Lott, Texas and he preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1983. On Nov. 30, 1996 she married John Hervie Lewis in Coppell, Texas.
Loucille was a faithful member of Glenview Church of Christ. She enjoyed attending the bluegrass music festival in Tolar every Friday night. She enjoyed traveling and her annual trip to Petit Jean mountain in Arkansas. She helped with the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed her flower and cactus gardens and loved watching sports on television. Also preceding her in death were her parents and a niece, Susan Golding Scibratt.
Survivors: Husband, John Hervie Lewis; sons, Eric and Lisa Hancock of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mike and Cyndi Lewis of Quinlan, Texas, Greg Lewis and Don Skelton of Galveston, Texas; grandchildren, Clare Hancock of Brooklyn, N.Y., Michael Lewis, Lisa Little and Robert Little, all of Quinlan, Texas; sister, Edna Golding and husband, Raymond, of Lott, Texas; nephews, Steven Golding and wife, Ann, of Dallas, Travis Golding of Midland; great nieces and nephews, Garrett Golding, Mallory Golding, Austin Sciratt.
