Louise Law, 88, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Service: 11:00 AM, Friday, March 30, 2018, Church of Christ, Lipan, Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 29, 2018, Wiley Funeral Chapel, Lipan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Christ, Lipan or to the Lipan Food Bank.
Louise was born on November 21, 1929 in Leander, Texas to Roy and Willie Briggs. She was an executive assistant and a ranch hand with her husband George. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a great cook, whose specialty was her birthday pies. She read about 300 books a year, a pastime she thoroughly enjoyed. She was an active member of the Church of Christ, Lipan.
Louise was survived by her children: Diane McFadden and husband Robert “Bob”, Doug Sims and wife Blynda, and Sheila Smith and husband Paul, grandchildren: Gary McFadden and wife Charity, Michelle Smith and husband Tray, Chris McFadden, Jordan Sims and wife Katie, Amanda Smith, Mallory Scarborough and husband Chris, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed.
