Marcella Irene Beaver

Marcella Irene (Massey) Beaver, loving wife and mother of three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at the age of 78.

Marcella was born on April 25, 1942 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George Dewey and Lela (Mahon) Massey. She married Bill Beaver on June 9, 1958. They had three children Sharon, Bradley and Sandra.

Marcella followed Bill in his service in the US Air Force at different bases. Following his military retirement, she worked and later retired as a payroll and accounts payable clerk at Tri-County Electronic. She was lifetime member at First Baptist Church of Azle, actively involved in the growth of the church and numerous mission trips around the country. She was an Auxiliary member of Gideon’s International.

Marcella was preceded in death by her father and mother; her son, Bradley; her daughter, Sandra Brand; her brothers, Leon Massey and wife, Janis and Billy Massey.

She is survived by her husband; her oldest daughter, Sharon Carey and husband, Bob; her grandchildren, Brittany (Carey) Lewis and husband, Riley, Robby Beaver, Hannah Carey, Ashley Beaver, AJ  Carey and wife, Deann, Jonathan Brand and Mathew Brand; and her great grandchildren, Raylan Lewis and Amelia Lewis; her sisters, Mary McNair and Lucy Carter; her brother, Charles Massey and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15th, 2021 at Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth, Texas at 10 a.m. followed at 11 a.m. by a funeral service and a graveside service immediately afterwards at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle, Texas. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church of Azle.
