GRANBURY — Marcille Manley Booth, 87, passed away Tuesday, Apr. 1, 2014, in Fort Worth from injuries received in an automobile accident in Granbury on Mar. 19, 2014.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Friday at Brazos Covenant Ministries in Granbury. Burial: Acton Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Booth was born May 26, 1926, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Edward and Elizabeth Mae King Manley. Marcille and her husband John lived in Fort Worth until 1987 when they retired to Granbury. She devoted her life to Christ and His work through her church and other ministries. She encouraged, cared for and loved her family, and so many others. She was committed to serving God by supporting and teaching those she loved about life, love and faith. She was preceded in death by her husband John Sr., and daughter Sandy Dyer.
Survivors: Son, John Booth and wife Nancy of Granbury; daughter, Janice Summerhill and husband Mike of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Brad Hickey, Jennifer Cobb, Tiffany Zebrun, Aaron Summerhill, Megan Forbes, Jackie Druzanovic and Travis Warner; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
