Marjorie Anna Fowler, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2014.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Committal will be at 12:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Biggers Funeral Home following the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church Building Fund, 2920 Azle Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76106.
Marjorie Anna Fowler was born January 12, 1936, in Saskatchewan, Canada. She was a loving and caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Marge never spoke an unkind word, and influenced everyone who knew her with an upbeat, positive, selfless attitude. She was a devout Catholic and devoted every day to serving God and her family. Amidst the most trying of times, Marge placed all of her pain and health problems in God’s hands. She was an example for all to follow, never focusing on her own pain or problems.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents, Andrew and Lily Chernysh; sister, Francis; and brother, Albert.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Satterfield and husband, Mike, of Fort Worth; son, Brad Fowler and wife, Cathy, of Boyd; sister, Phyllis Pshebniski and husband, John, of Manitoba, Canada; sister-in-law, Brenda Dodson of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Skylar, Taylor, Marshall, Megan and Blake; and a long list of loving nieces and nephews.
