Fay Watt, 91, passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Graveside Service: 10:00 am Monday, February 19, 2018 in Dido Cemetery. Visitation: 2 – 4 pm Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Fay was born August 3, 1926 in Haslet, Texas. She was one of four children of the late William Huitt and Pearl Mae (Hudnall) Laird. Fay married Robert (Bob) Watt in 1949 and was a loan officer for the First National Bank of Fort Worth, now Bank of America. Fay and Bob both loved animals, rescued several dogs and cats, fed the ducks and other birds, squirrels and raccoons. I’m sure they will all miss them nearly as much as we will! Fay was preceded in death by Bob in 1999 after 50 years of marriage; and brothers, Huitt Charles Laird, Jimmy Joe Laird, and Don Edwin Laird.
Fay is survived by sisters-in-law, Olivia Laird and Cindy Laird; and many nieces and nephews.
